Terms & Policies
General Terms:
Timing is critical to achieve the best possible result and therefore the photographer should have enough time to complete the task in hand. At the pre wedding meeting all should be agreed. In case you will be using a wedding Planner or have a wedding coordinator please ask them to be at the meeting too.
Although your guests can take as many photos as they wish during the wedding, it is your responsibility to ask them to try and avoid getting in line of sight of the photographer. In any case if one of your guests in their attempt to take a picture gets in the way we cannot be healed responsible if we miss the moment.
Photographer/s are not in any way responsible if during formal, group or family shoots guests have their eyes closed, looking the wrong way, etc and in any other case beyond the photographers control. Although all efforts will be made on behalf of the photographer to ensure that images will look their best.
The Private Couple photo-shoot is to be carried without guests. A bridesmaid may accompany us for adjusting minor details on the brides hair, dress etc.
During the day the Photographer/s, Assistant/s, Videographer/s etc, will require one meal and one drink each, (This only applies if booking a more that 3 hours package) preferably in another area not far from yours.
It is the couples responsibility to appoint a guest as the main contact between the couple / guests and the photographers.
Copyright and Ownership:
All images given to the client by the photographer carry a non commercial copyright release. The ownership of the digital file belongs to the photographer and therefore he has the right to use these images in a non commercial way. By that, neither the client or the photographer have the right to sell any of the images without the written consent of the other. Photographer has the right to use any of the photos for his own publicity. Publishing on Websites, Blogs, magazines, social media, sending images to competitions, etc are some ways the photographer may use these images.
Payment terms:
A non refundable deposit of €150 is required to secure your date. Remaining Balance is due one week prior to your wedding or at the pre-wedding meeting.
Cancellation Policy:
Photographers Cancellation:
If the photographer cannot attend your wedding for reasons beyond his control (death, injury, sickness, etc) his liability is limited to a full refund of the amount paid up to date. In such an unexpected event, all efforts will be made by the photographer to find another photographer of equal capabilities at no extra cost.
Clients Cancellation:
The following charges will apply if you choose to cancel your booking. More than 6 Months before the wedding: Just the Deposit. Less than 6 Months before the wedding: 50% of the total amount. Less than 1 Month before the wedding: 100% of the total amount.
Disclaimer:
Photographer and Client agree that they cannot be held responsible for any damage / injury, emotional or otherwise that may occur at any stage of their collaboration.
Photographers Commitment:
Photographer/s commit that every effort will be made to provide the client the highest possible photographic service. In the event that a mechanical failure occurs to the photographic, post production equipment, or means of transport and the photographer is not able to provide to the client the requested services and products, the photographers liability is limited to a full refund off all payments. However, the photographer commits that backup equipment will be carried with him at the date of the wedding and that all efforts will be made for all necessary equipment to be in mint condition in order to complete the task.
Personal Data Protection Law:
All personal information such as e-mail, residential address, contact telephone numbers, etc given to the photographer will be held for the photographer’s use exclusively.
It is your responsibility to notify the photographer in advance if any member of your family or quests do not wish to have any of their pictures published as described under the “Copyright and Ownership” term of this document.
