General Terms:

The Client acknowledges that adequate time allocation is essential for the Photographer to deliver the highest quality results. Accordingly, the Photographer must be provided with sufficient time to carry out all agreed-upon tasks without interruption. All relevant timings, schedules, and expectations shall be discussed and finalized during the pre-wedding meeting. If a wedding planner or coordinator is involved, the Client agrees to ensure their attendance at said meeting.

While guests are welcome to capture their own photographs during the event, the Client agrees to inform all attendees to refrain from obstructing the Photographer’s line of sight during key moments. The Photographer shall not be held liable for missed shots or compromised images resulting from guest interference.

The Photographer shall not be held responsible for issues beyond their control during formal, group, or family photography sessions. This includes, but is not limited to, subjects having their eyes closed, looking away from the camera, or other unintentional misalignments. The Photographer will make all reasonable efforts to achieve the best possible results under the circumstances.

The couple’s private photo session is to be conducted without the presence of guests to maintain focus and efficiency. A designated bridesmaid may accompany the session solely for the purpose of assisting with minor adjustments to the bride’s attire and appearance.

For bookings exceeding three (3) hours in duration, the Client agrees to provide one (1) meal and one (1) non-alcoholic beverage for each member of the photography team (including assistants and videographers). These meals should be served in a location reasonably close to the main event area.

The Client shall designate a guest or member of the wedding party to act as the primary point of contact between the photography team and all other parties on the wedding day. This individual will assist in communication and coordination to ensure smooth operations.

Copyright and Ownership:

All photographic works created by the Photographer remain the intellectual property of the Photographer. The Client is granted a non-commercial copyright license for personal use of the final images delivered, including but not limited to printing, sharing with family and friends, and personal online use. This license does not extend to any commercial usage.

The digital image files remain the property of the Photographer. Neither the Client nor the Photographer may license, sell, or otherwise commercially exploit any of the images without the prior written consent of the other party.

The Photographer retains the right to use any of the images captured during the event for promotional and portfolio purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, publication on the Photographer’s website, blog, social media platforms, submission to professional competitions, exhibitions, and editorial features in magazines or other publications.

Payment terms:

A non-refundable booking fee of €150 is required to secure the Photographer’s services for the Client’s wedding date. The booking is not considered confirmed until this payment has been received and acknowledged in writing by the Photographer.

The remaining balance of the agreed-upon package price shall be payable no later than seven (7) calendar days prior to the wedding date, or at the time of the pre-wedding meeting, whichever occurs first. Failure to remit payment in full by the due date may result in cancellation of services without refund of the booking fee.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Photographers Cancellation:

In the unlikely event that the Photographer is unable to attend the wedding due to circumstances beyond their control (including, but not limited to, death, injury, serious illness, or other unforeseen emergencies), the Photographer’s liability shall be limited to a full refund of all fees paid by the Client up to the date of cancellation. Every reasonable effort will be made by the Photographer to secure a replacement photographer of comparable style and quality at no additional cost to the Client. However, no guarantee can be made that a suitable replacement will be found.

  • Clients Cancellation:

Should the Client choose to cancel the booking, the following cancellation charges shall apply:

  • More than six (6) months prior to the wedding date: Forfeiture of the non-refundable booking fee only.

  • Less than six (6) months but more than one (1) month prior to the wedding date: Fifty percent (50%) of the total agreed package fee will be payable.

  • Less than one (1) month prior to the wedding date: One hundred percent (100%) of the total agreed package fee will be payable.

All cancellations must be submitted by the Client in writing. The effective date of cancellation shall be the date on which the Photographer receives the written notice.

Disclaimer:

The Photographer and the Client mutually agree that neither party shall be held liable for any personal injury, emotional distress, property damage, or other incidental or consequential damages arising from or in connection with the services provided under this agreement, at any stage of their professional collaboration. This limitation of liability applies to all circumstances, including but not limited to the preparation, execution, and delivery of photographic services. Nothing in this clause shall exclude liability for negligence resulting in death or personal injury where such exclusion is prohibited by law.

Photographers Commitment:

The Photographer commits to delivering the highest possible standard of professional photographic services to the Client. All reasonable care and effort will be taken to ensure the quality and completeness of the services rendered.

In the unlikely event of a mechanical failure involving photographic, post-production equipment, or transportation issues that prevent the Photographer from fulfilling the services outlined in this agreement, the Photographer’s liability shall be limited solely to a full refund of all payments received from the Client. No further compensation or damages shall be payable.

The Photographer agrees to carry backup equipment on the day of the wedding and to take all reasonable steps to ensure that all necessary equipment is fully operational and in proper working condition in order to fulfill the agreed-upon services.

Personal Data Protection Law:

All personal information provided by the Client to the Photographer, including but not limited to email addresses, residential addresses, and contact telephone numbers, shall be treated as strictly confidential. This information will be used solely by the Photographer for the purposes of communication, service delivery, and record-keeping in connection with this agreement, and will not be disclosed to any third parties without the Client’s prior written consent, except as required by law.

It is the Client’s responsibility to inform the Photographer in writing, prior to the wedding date, if any member of the Client’s family, wedding party, or guests does not consent to having their image used by the Photographer for promotional purposes as outlined in Copyright and Ownership Rights above. Failure to provide such notification shall be deemed as acceptance and consent by all parties present at the event.
